I’d be lying if I told you that my lifestyle is exclusively centered on health and wellness. I enjoy the occasional glass of wine or a Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme, balanced with my love for a Solidcore class now and then, a passion for testing new supplements, and my current bedtime self-care obsession: Neom. If you’re new to the London-based wellness brand (like I was initially), it carries a wide range (think: hundreds) of bath and body products crafted with pure essential oils.

In the spirit of transparency, I was initially skeptical before trying the products because I’ve tested too many lotions and candles that were nice but didn’t floor me. So you can probably imagine my surprise when I gave it a chance and, in that moment, knew it was bound to become an integral part of my nightly routine.

Ahead, I dive into my experience of testing a few Neom top sellers, whether to introduce you to the brand or to motivate you to finally add something to your virtual shopping cart. But first, let’s start with some fast facts.

About Neom

  • Neom offers giftable candles, lotions, and essential-oil diffusers, among other bath and body products.
  • The brand uses 100 percent natural essential oils to scent its products.
  • All products are free of synthetic fragrances, parabens, GMOs, and more. (See the full list of exclusions here.)

What I Like About Neom

I’ve been using Neom products religiously for a few months now, with no signs of slowing down. My three favorite products are brand bestsellers: the Neom Organics London Luxury Scented Candle ($55); the Mini Portable Wellbeing Pod ($66), which I use with the Perfect Night’s Sleep Essential Oil Blend ($22); and the Perfect Night’s Sleep Magnesium Body Butter ($41). All are scented with a mix of lavender, Brazilian rosewood, and jasmine, a relaxing trio that’s become synonymous with comfort and relaxation for me.

My favorite product of the aforementioned four is the Mini Portable Wellbeing Pod, which is super easy to use. I’ve tried many essential-oil diffusers through the years, almost all of which have required a cord and outlet to use. What separates this one from the pack is its compact, portable, and cordless design. (It requires a USB cable to recharge but doesn’t require one during use.) Its small size and durable design also make it conveniently portable for vacation if you want to reap self-care benefits while on the go.

During the workday, I exchange the aforementioned sleep essential-oil blend for the Happiness Essential Oil Blend ($24), featuring white neroli, woody and powdery mimosa, and zingy lemon. The trio of essential oils permeates my small office space with a mood-boosting scent that helps energize me for the day ahead (teamed with coffee, obviously). You can see below how quick and easy it is to swap out essential oils.

Choosing between the three-wick candle and the body butter is tough for me. The three-wick candle impresses me with its even burn and how long-lasting it is. As for the lotion, I’m usually cautious about using “luxurious” to describe product consistencies, given how frequently that word is overused, but this one genuinely embodies it. Its lightweight and silky texture absorbs quickly, and the scent is prominent but not overpowering, perfect for applying before bed.

What to Consider Before Trying Neom

The most important thing to consider before trying Neom is its price. It’s no secret that its products are no small investment, but it’s worth it in terms of size and quantity. A small bit of the lotion goes a long way, and the candle’s scent lingers long after you blow it out. (I light it at night for around two hours and haven’t made a significant dent since it first landed on my doorstep.) While you can surely find lesser-priced options, with Neom, you can rest assured that you’re getting clean, high-quality products that last – and that’s not necessarily the case with other brands.

Another thing to consider is that Neom’s products make great gifts, especially for those who don’t typically splurge on themselves when it comes to self-care. The brand sells each item individually but also offers value gift sets, like its Moments of Wellbeing in the Palm of Your Hand Gift Set ($37) and The Winter Wellbeing Wonders Candle Trio Gift Set ($38).

Where Is Neom Available?

Neom is available direct to consumer from the brand’s website, as well as Amazon, Dermstore, and Nordstrom.
