New York or Nowhere is embarking on its latest collaboration.
The lifestyle brand is teaming with NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” for a fashion collection that celebrates the TV show’s 50th anniversary this month. The 24-piece collection offers apparel, hats, tote bags and limited-edition art work from Brooklyn-based artist Gavin Snider.
“‘SNL’ is one of New York City’s most influential and enduring cultural exports, and having the opportunity to work with their team on this project has been a tremendous honor,” said Quincy Moore, New York or Nowhere’s creative director. “‘SNL’ is not only an iconic show but also a remarkable brand, and this collection was designed to celebrate and enhance that part of its legacy. We’re really excited for people to see it.”
The collection merges the motifs and branding of both New York or Nowhere and “Saturday Night Live” for pieces like a varsity jacket that reads “Live From New York or Nowhere” and a knit sweater that reads “Unscripted.” The collection ranges in price from $15 to $275.

“It was exciting to collaborate on this incredible collection with New York or Nowhere,” said Tom Broeker, “SNL’s” producer and costume designer. “Using the DNA of five decades of comedy and culture, along with the energy of New York City, the collection reflects the organic synergy between the two brands.”
To celebrate the collection, New York or Nowhere is hosting a pop-up shop at Rockefeller Center from Friday through Sunday where fans can shop the styles in person. New York or Nowhere has also put together a campaign for the collaboration featuring “Saturday Night Live” cast members Ego Nwodim, James Austin Johnson, Devon Walker and Michael Longfellow. The campaign was photographed by the show’s longtime photographer, Mary Ellen Matthews.
