Danielle of NewJeans attended the Yves Saint Laurent Beauté pop-up opening in Seoul on Friday. The K-pop star, who has been an ambassador for the brand since March, wore a little black dress for the event. She paired the look with opaque tights underneath, black heels and an edgy leather jacket.
On Wednesday, Danielle appeared on Yves Saint Laurent Beauté’s official Instagram page promoting the brand’s Couture mini clutch palette, which features high-intensity eye shadows. The singer was also named a Burberry ambassador in January.
Danielle’s last fashionable moment was at the Lollapalooza in Chicago on Aug. 3, where she and NewJeans performed for the first time at the music festival. The group hit the stage in Y2k-themed outfits, including pleated miniskirts with exposed hems and Timberland boots.
NewJeans also made an appearance at Levi’s “150 Years of the 501 Jeans” event in May, wearing denim-centered ensembles from the legacy brand, pairing the looks with graphic T-shirts. The group secured a brand ambassadorship with Levi’s in March and the relationship was fitting since NewJeans’ name originates from wanting to be as memorable as the fashion item itself.
NewJeans originally rose to fame in 2022 with their single “Attention.” Other members of the group, which also includes Minji, Hanni, Haerin and Hyein, have relationships with Gucci, Dior, Chanel and Louis Vuitton. Like other K-pop groups, NewJeans has amassed a wide and viral fanbase, with over 9 million followers on Instagram.
