The Chanel spring 2027 ready-to-wear presentation on Monday night was a family affair for Nicole Kidman, who brought daughter Faith Urban as her plus one for the Paris Fashion Week event.
The Oscar-winning actress, who shares Faith with former husband Keith Urban, wore a gray long-sleeve coatdress with a pair of sheer black tights and heels. Her strawberry red hair was styled with a wispy fringe, which just covered her eyes.
Kidman’s ensemble acted as a rather elevated iteration of her teenage daughter’s look. Faith wore a classic gray and black Chanel cardigan with a pair of wide-leg blue jeans and black-and-white cap-toe heels.

The mother-daughter fashion week moment isn’t the first Kidman has shared with one of her daughters. Back in June 2024, Kidman’s daughter Sunday Rose joined the actress for the Balenciaga haute couture fall 2024 show in Paris, where the mother-daughter pair coordinated in black dresses and dramatic sunglasses.
Mere months after the Balenciaga show, Sunday Rose made her runway debut during Paris Fashion Week in October 2024. She hit the catwalk for Miu Miu’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear presentation. Sunday Rose more recently attended the 2026 Met Gala with her mother last May, marking the teenager’s debut at the annual event.
Faith was also on-hand at the Valentino show on Sunday to support her older sister, who hit the catwalk for the Italian luxury fashion house’s spring 2027 collection.
Over the last few years, Kidman’s used a fair few red carpet opportunities and fashion events as an occasion to bring along her teenage daughters. But the spring 2027 ready-to-wear Chanel show had extra significance for the actress, coming on the eve of her first anniversary as an official ambassador for the French luxury fashion house.
“As someone who has such an appreciation for haute couture, I am so looking forward to witnessing Matthieu’s vision for the oldest haute couture house still in operation and having the opportunity to wear what I know will be gorgeous creations,” Kidman said in a statement upon her appointment, referencing Chanel creative director Matthieu Blazy.
“Chanel has always been ahead of the curve, shining a smart and gracious light on women, and I am sure Matthieu will be no exception, just like Karl did in his time.” More than 20 years before she became a Chanel ambassador, Kidman starred in a 2004 advertisement for Chanel No.5.
The advert was directed by Baz Luhrmann, who worked with the actress on films like “Moulin Rouge!” and “Australia,” and reportedly cost $33 million. The commercial was released during late designer Karl Lagerfeld’s tenure with the French luxury fashion house.
