This year’s installment of the Nike Vomero is the gift that keeps on giving. The Beaverton, Ore.-based brand kicked things off in February with the launch of the Vomero 18 followed by the upgraded Vomero Plus and Vomero Premium in August and October, respectively. Now, the Swoosh has gone back to where it all started with a winter-ready Gore-Tex update of the Vomero 18.
The just-released Nike Vomero 18 Gore-Tex is available now in five men’s styles and three women’s colorways. Black/Anthracite is available in both size ranges, while other men’s colorways include Pure Platinum/Light Pumice/Barely Green/Metallic Silver, Seaweed/Cannon/Volt/Barely Volt, White/Pure wPlatinum and Black/Anthracite/White/Metallic Silver. Women can choose between Black/Crimson Tint/Black/Black and Seaweed/Light Liquid Lime/Cyber/Seaweed looks.

The upgraded Vomero 18 features the same dual-density combination of ZoomX foam and ReactX foam but enhances the rest of the shoe with wet weather materials. Most notable is the shoe’s waterproof Gore-Tex lining, which is paired with a technical mesh in place of the Vomero 18’s standard engineered mesh build.
Each colorway has reflective accents wrapping the shoe and on the eyelets for added visibility in low-light, post-daylight saving time conditions. And on the bottom, the Vomero 18’s usual outsole setup is updated with Storm-Tread rubber for added grip on wet surfaces. Despite these updates, runners should find that the sneaker performs more or less the same as the Vomero 18 they’ve come to love.
While it’s a fully capable performance running shoe, the Vomero 18 has also caught on as a lifestyle option in 2025. Much like the Pegasus Premium, a combination of plush comfort and attractive colorways make the models viable everyday choices.
These enhancements do come at a price premium. While standard Vomero 18s retail for $155, the Gore-Tex version is priced at $180. Each of the seven pairs pictured here are available now from nike.com and select stores.
