LONDON — Window shopping has never looked so good.
Stone Island has taken over Harrods’ windows with images from its fall 2024 campaign, which features famous faces including Oasis’ Liam Gallagher, singer-songwriter Peggy Gou, actor Russell Tovey and designer Phillipe Stark.
Shot by David Sims, the campaign captures models rocking archival pieces alongside the new collection. Accompanying the images are brief interviews between the brand and each starry ambassador.
Gallagher wears a well-worn canvas windbreaker with a thick matte PVC coating from the brand’s fall 1983 collection.

When asked what he eats for breakfast everyday, Gallagher answered, “I have porridge for breakfast, then if I’m feeling really rock ‘n’ roll I’ll have some almonds on it and a bit of honey.”
Gou struck a pose in an orange puffer coat from the brand’s latest drop. Made entirely of recycled light nylon, its resin-coated inner face makes it wind resistant and mildly water resistant.
“Don’t take rubbish from other people” was the DJ’s response to being asked what advice she’d give to her younger self.
To coincide with the launch, the Italian label released a seasonal colorway of its signature President’s knit sweater, exclusive to Harrods. Fittingly, the brand’s chairman, Carlo Rivetti, modeled the piece in an image accompanying the drop.
The takeover comes two months after Stone Island opened its new 430-square-foot store in the Knightsbridge retailer as part of its push to move into direct-to-consumer from mainly wholesale.
Designed by Rem Koolhaas’ OMA/AMO studio, the minimalist yet tactile space takes inspiration from the brand’s legacy of fabric research and innovation.
