Nominees Night, hosted by The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify, brought together music, film and television nominees alongside content creators — and, for the first time, podcasters — for a Golden Week party that showcased Hollywood’s evolving creative landscape.
The shift was evident on the floor, where conversations bounced between awards-season campaigns and download numbers.
Held across two soundstages at The Lot at Formosa in West Hollywood, the guest list reflected the mix, with attendees ranging from red carpet newcomer Mel Robbins to Hollywood mainstay Amy Poehler, both tied to the Golden Globes’ inaugural Best Podcast category debuting Sunday.
They mingled with film and television contenders, including Quinta Brunson and Janelle James, whose series “Abbott Elementary” is nominated for Best Television Series — Musical or Comedy; Odessa A’zion, whose “Marty Supreme” is up for Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy, and Natasha Lyonne, nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series — Musical or Comedy for “Poker Face.”

Live music kept the energy going, with performances by Miles Caton of “Sinners,” Chaka Khan, Mark Ronson and John Legend.
“I’m gonna ask you to work tonight. Are you ready to work with me? I need you to sing a little bit. Is that alright?” Legend asked the audience, before referencing his 2004 debut album “Get Lifted.”
“This came out before you ever heard of Spotify,” he smiled, launching into “Used to Love U.”
