Olivia Wilde dipped into Prada denim for a menswear look at Tuesday night’s “I Want Your Sex” premiere at Los Angeles’ DGA Theater.
“The Invite” filmmaker and actress wore a coordinated denim look with a black blazer from the Italian luxury fashion house’s spring 2027 menswear collection — the first look to hit the runway during the show. Denim was the order of the day for Wilde, who sported Prada’s white, low-rise jeans with a slim-fitting silhouette.
The denim pants were paired with a coordinated top in the same colorway and material, featuring silver buttons running down the front placket. The collared top, which also included two flap breast pockets, was given a business casual edge with a slightly oversize black blazer, featuring a sinuous lapel and rounded shoulders.

Wilde continued the menswear styling with her pointed-toe black pumps. As for other finishing touches, the actress accessorized with earrings courtesy of De La Paix. Wilde’s look was curated by stylist Karla Welch, who also counts Tracee Ellis Ross among her clients.
Despite Prada co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons generally being reluctant to wear denim themselves, the brand’s men’s spring 2027 ready-to-wear collection was full of jeans and jean jackets. “They had settled on jeans as the foundation of the collection out of a wish to create something interesting with the most universal of garments,” Miles Socha wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
“But Prada and Simons also injected plenty of Prada quirks, including retro curtain patterns on snug sweater vests and skinny jeans; offbeat colors like anise green and Pepto-Bismol pink, and wonky, asymmetrical eyewear with a futuristic glean,” Socha wrote.
Prada’s spring 2027 ready-to-wear men’s collection, which debuted during Milan Fashion Week in June 2026, also featured female models on the runway, “sending the additional message that such garments truly have no gender,” Socha wrote in WWD’s review.
Directed by Gregg Araki, “I Want Your Sex” follows Elliot, played by Cooper Hoffman, as he becomes the sexual muse of Erika Tracy, played by Wilde, a contemporary artist with a penchant for sexual exploration. The film hits theaters Friday.
