Since its introduction in 2022, Salomon’s revamped ACS Pro model has been one of the French sports equipment company’s most popular lifestyle sneakers. In that short window of time, the ACS Pro has seen countless material and color revisions ranging from subtle to more bold offerings from the likes of L’Art de L’Automobile and MM6 Maison Margiela. And soon, the sneaker will receive a first-of-its-kind revision courtesy of British sportswear brand A-Cold-Wall.
After featuring the French company’s sneakers in its spring 2025 show, A-Cold-Wall’s first Salomon collaboration to be released at retail utilizes the popular ACS Pro model, but completely reconstructs the sneaker, leaving only its distinct support caging and multi-layered midsole without major modifications.

The upper of the shoe, typically rendered in a mix of breathable mesh and synthetic overlays, has been revamped with a rugged Matryx Kevlar mesh that’s combined with suedes and protective toe reinforcements. Panels and seams are left exposed to give the sneaker a deconstructed feel, while subtle distressing is meant to add a lived-in appearance.
Asymmetrical lacing adds another new dimension to the look, which when paired with the supportive cage structure, results in what A-Cold-Wall describes as a “bold architectural silhouette.”
To introduce the collaboration, A-Cold-Wall tapped British jazz composer Shabaka Hutchings and rapper Reek0 for a campaign that emphasizes A-Cold-Wall’s London roots while showing that “seemingly different worlds can find common ground through creativity, curiosity and shared expression.”
Founded in 2014 by British designer Samuel Ross, A-Cold-Wall previously released popular sneaker collaborations with Nike and Converse. In 2024, A-Cold-Wall was acquired by Tomorrow Ltd., while Ross has since gone on to launch his eponymous SR_A creative studio.
After several early-look previews, the A-Cold-Wall x Salomon ACS Pro will be released in Black Olive/Bog/Icicle and Bluing/Earth Bro/Black Olive colorways on Wednesday from salomon.com, Salomon boutiques and select retailers. Retail pricing is set at 220 euros. Readers can find a full look at both styles below.
