Shop Petite Plume’s The Olivia Pajamas During Black Friday

Winter has come around sooner than we all expected, meaning it’s finally time to turn that indoor fireplace on and get cozy on the couch with a loved one at your side. The only thing missing in this picture-perfect vignette? A set of soft, lightweight, and chic pajamas that will feel like a hug. Let us introduce you to Petite Plume’s The Olivia: the luxury sleepwear brand’s bestselling hero product that’s been worn-slash-loved by everyone from entrepreneur Hannah Bronfman to famed interior designer Shea McGee and recently dropped in three new, trending shades for the cold-weather months.

The best part? For a limited time only, the style — along with Petite Plume favorites for the whole family — is on sale for 20 percent off (discount applied at checkout). This is no small occasion, seeing as how The Olivia remains, stubbornly, at full price for most of the year.

The Olivia Wide Leg Pima Pajama Set’s newest colorways that arrived late this summer include the nude Camel, striped Camel Ticking, and mellow-green Sage. “The inspiration really came from a desire to ground the season in calm, nature-inspired tones — colors that feel both elevated and deeply wearable,” says Emily Hikade, who founded Petite Plume in 2015. “Sage and camel, in particular, reflect a larger trend we’ve been seeing toward quiet luxury and earthy minimalism: something that’s showing up across fashion, interiors, and beauty.”

Like beige wallpaper or kitchen cabinets painted in soft green, the hues in question don’t overwhelm the eye while also challenging the idea that winter is only for dark and jewel tones. Sure, The Olivia Pajama Set in Navy (excluded from the Black Friday promotion) looks elevated as can be, but the fresh shades promote the kind of soothing sensation that you want to maximize when going to bed or lounging around in clothing that’s equal parts chic and comfortable. And Camel Ticking just might be Hikade’s personal favorite. “Tickings have become a signature at Petite Plume — they’re consistently among our bestsellers across silhouettes, so it felt like a natural evolution to introduce this warm, neutral version. It’s timeless, easy to style, and adds just the right amount of subtle pattern,” she says.

Rather than being bold and brash, the colors are sophisticated and light at their core: almost as light, dare we suggest, as the set’s delicate Pima fabric itself. When our editors tested out the pajamas, this is the first element we took notice of. The 100-percent Peruvian Pima feels more buttery to the touch than any cotton alternative we’ve worn in the past, while being ultra-breathable. As someone who gets hot during sleep and usually wakes up in a sweat, I can say the pajamas are quite thermoregulating — which took me by surprise, since I typically stick to boxer shorts and light tank tops in bed.

Live in a climate that’s warm year-round? Consider adding to cart The Olivia’s younger sibling: The Olivia Pima Short Set, which arrived on the scene circa 2025, ushered in by popular demand, and features the same beloved features (albeit with a shorter cut). This iteration doesn’t come in Camel, Camel Ticking, and Sage — yet! — so choose wisely.

The premium material makeup of the full-scale The Olivia also resists pilling and wrinkling, never fading after many washes and years of wear due to its yarn-dyed nature. And because elastic cuffs are better saved for sweatpants, we appreciate the fact that The Olivia Wide Leg Pima Pajama Set has generous pant legs, scoring it added points in the comfort department. For reference, I’m a 5’3″ petite woman who sometimes runs into problems with pajama bottoms being too long; in Small, The Olivia’s pants hit right at my ankle, as Petite Plume intends them to, and don’t feel like a trip hazard in the least. As for those three-quarter-length sleeves, they contribute to a more airy experience and, quite simply, look more aesthetically pleasing than full-length counterparts — drawing merited attention to the careful, detail-oriented tailoring at play.

“You can wear [the set] while cooking, putting the kids to bed, or lounging on the weekend and still feel put-together,” Hikade notes. “It borders on loungewear, but with a sense of polish that makes you feel styled without trying too hard.”

Our shopping team savored The Olivia each morning and night for a week, pairing it with weighted blankets for movie nights and admiring its peaceful, on-trend colorways with consecutive cups of coffee in hand. But the beauty of Petite Plume’s top-performing offering (which the brand expects to sell 100,000 units of before end of year, a 1,243-percent jump from last year) lies in its sheer versatility. “These are meant to move with you throughout your day,” Hikade tells WWD.
