Jenna Dewan attended the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards on Tuesday. The actress and dancer fashioned a look that accentuated her growing baby bump for the Beverly Hills event.
For the occasion, Dewan wore a feather-trim silk maxidress courtesy of Cult Gaia. The dress featured delicate ostrich feathers cascading down the long, flowing skirt. The bodice of the dress also featured cutouts that emphasized Dewan’s pregnancy. The dress had an open back and bralette-like top.
Dewan added feathery sleeves to the look and accessorized with jewelry by Cicada and Suzanne Kalan. Dewan has been a fan of Cult Gaia for some time. In November 2023, the “Step Up” actress attended the 2024 resort collection runway show in Los Angeles. Pieces from the brand often favor heirloom designs — looks that can be passed down for years to come.
For Dewan, fashioning the silk maxidress with feather trim was all about the details and proudly putting her body first. She often opts for pieces that accentuate her figure and celebrate her frame.
The dancer is pregnant with her second child with fiancé Steve Kazee, and she has another child from her previous marriage to Channing Tatum. Cult Gaia’s designs, while rooted in classic cuts, feature fun and flirty details, much like the feather trim showcased on Dewan’s maxidress.
Jasmin Larian Hekmat founded the Los Angeles-based brand in 2012. Originally beginning with few designs, the Cult Gaia brand has grown into apparel, with fashion shows showcasing new pieces each year.
The Fashion Trust U.S. is a nonprofit organization with a purpose to discover, fund and nurture young designers. The goal of the nonprofit is to help those burgeoning fashion figures and see them build their label into a thriving global brand.
