Margot Robbie proved that you don’t have to sacrifice comfort for style while walking her first red carpet since announcing her pregnancy.
The “Barbie” star attended the Special Campfire Screening of the film she and her husband Tom Ackerley produced, “My Old Ass,” held at Treepeople in Los Angeles on Monday.
Robbie wore a draped ash-hued jersey dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline. One shoulder had a twist, while the other provided more coverage to her upper arm. The ankle-length dress included small slits on each side of the skirt for easier movement. She completed the look with scrappy sandals.
The rest of Robbie’s look was minimalist, featuring barely-there makeup and straight hair with a simple part. She accessorized with the Oera bracelet from Tabayer, a chain link design constructed with sculptural knots paved with diamonds.

Robbie has kept a relatively low profile throughout her pregnancy, first making it public at the beginning of July. She attended Day 12 of the Wimbledon Championships in another look that married comfort and style, wearing an Alaïa black-and-white polka dot-print midi dress made of stretch fabric.
Her more grounded baby bump outfits are a departure from the Barbie-inspired outfits styled by Andrew Mukamal she wore while promoting the Greta Gerwig-helmed film. Some of her standout looks from the press tour included a pink Balmain leather minidress inspired by the ’90s “Earring Magic” Barbie, at the Mexico City premiere and her transformation into the 1977 “Superstar Barbie” doll in a custom pink Armani Privé number.
“My Old Ass” is a queer coming-of-age film starring Maisy Stella and Aubrey Plaza. Stella plays a recent high school graduate who runs into a future version of herself, played by Plaza. The film has a limited release in the U.S. starting on Sept. 13.
