Princess Charlene of Monaco has been favoring leather this season when it comes to holiday events. The royal opted to wear it once again while attending the inauguration of the Christmas village in Monaco.

Princess Charlene put a delicate touch on an aviator leather jacket by Chloé, pairing it with a white scarf tucked inside. She completed her look with a pair of matching brown boots and wide-leg trousers, and accessorized with a pair of elongated gold hoop earrings.

Beauty-wise, Princess Charlene wore a similar look to her appearance at the annual lighting of the Place of Casino in Monaco last weekend. Her hair was styled in an updo with a wave and her makeup consisted of minimal eyeliner.

Last weekend Princess Charlene put an edgy twist on leather in a black turtleneck with a black elongated vest consisting of cutouts forming a vertical pattern, and an oversized bottom lapel. She wore the vest, fastened at the waist, with large diamond earrings and finished her look with a burgundy manicure in a shade that’s been trending for fall.

While always a classic, the leather jacket was a popular choice for designers to take on for spring 2025. From cropped to baggy, barn to aviator and beyond, there were plenty of leather jackets on the runways belonging to AknvasCampillo, and Brandon Maxwell during this past New York Fashion Week.

Princess Charlene’s leather aviator jacket is yet another example that her wardrobe and style span a wide range. Over the past month, the royal has stepped out in an edgy take on a sparkly gown at the World Rugby Awards in Monaco, wearing a black Alexander McQueen gown with an Alexander McQueen beaded bustier and black Christian Dior pumps. She has also suited up in a lilac pantsuit for the 2024 Monaco National Day celebrations in Monaco, and she’s embraced her sporty side at the “No Finish Line” race in jogger pants, a T-shirt with a red logo and a matching red windbreaker with emblems for the charity embossed on the breast and sleeve.

Over the past handful of years, the royal has also worn dresses courtesy of Louis Vuitton, Versace, Marchesa and more.
