Princess Charlene of Monaco bundled up and joined members of the royal family for a festive Christmas ceremony in Monaco on Wednesday.
For the holiday occasion, Princess Charlene opted for an elegant spin on casual attire, mimicking the wardrobe choices made by her children, 11-year-old twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, and Princess Charlene’s husband of 14 years Prince Albert.
For her attire, Princess Charlene wore a light mockneck sweater with a ribbed element at the neckline and at the cuffs. The muted piece was complemented by an elongated dark coat the royal wore for the outdoor event as well, featuring rounded shoulders in its design.

The navy coat included structured elements, featuring a sharp collar and lapels as well as a hidden leather element at the neckline to make the collar even higher depending upon the weather. Fortunately, Princess Charlene was able to wear the coat open with the lapels and collar down for a striking, modern look of sophistication.
As for her glam, Princess Charlene favored simple elegance. Her bobbed hair was coiffed with strands of her blond ‘do slighting framing her face. Highlights for her makeup included lined eyes, bold brows and a pop of color thanks to her fuchsia lip.
Princess Charlene’s pared-back Christmas celebration attire is a departure from her formal wear. Wednesday’s look does, however, follow suit with other European royals who’ve given bundling up for the winter temperatures a refined quality, much like Kate Middleton did in her Catherine Walker coat for her annual Together at Christmas carol service.
For the 2024 edition of the Christmas even in Monaco, Princess Charlene opted for a cute coordinated moment with her daughter, Princess Gabriella. The two wore shades of red and black, with Princess Gabriella in a red coat and sweater and Princess Charlene in a black coat with a red and black scarf.
