Ralph Lauren has revealed a partnership with the Korea National Cancer Center Foundation to establish The Ralph Lauren Center for Patient and Family Recovery at the National Cancer Center of Korea in Goyang, South Korea. This marks Ralph Lauren’s first cancer center in Asia.
Building on the company’s longstanding support for cancer prevention and treatment efforts, the new center represents the next chapter in its commitment to expanding access to quality cancer care in communities around the world, including within South Korea, where it has provided support since 2012. The Ralph Lauren Center will serve as a hub for patients, families and caregivers from the Seoul metropolitan area and communities across South Korea, offering access to resources and programs that promote recovery and well-being.
The Ralph Lauren Center for Patient and Family Recovery in Korea, expected to open in 2028, joins a growing network of cancer centers and programs supported by The Ralph Lauren Corp. and the Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation including The Memorial Sloan Kettering Ralph Lauren Center in Harlem, N.Y.; the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention at Geogetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in Washington, D.C.; The Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in Los Angeles; the UChicago Medicine Ralph Lauren Center in Chicago, and the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in the U.K., helping to fund initiatives at The Royal Marsden such as The Ralph Lauren Centre for Breast Cancer Research in London and the Ralph Lauren Research Wing at the Oak Cancer Centre in Sutton.

The Ralph Lauren Center in South Korea will be located within the Phase II Proton Therapy center at the NCC’s new Innovative Cancer Research Center. It will provide a dedicated recovery space for patients undergoing proton therapy, as well as their families and caregivers, to help reduce anxiety and stress and offer holistic support that extends beyond clinical treatment. The Ralph Lauren Center will be integrated with NCC’s broader supportive care programs, including psychological counseling, family education, social welfare support and customized programs for patients and their families, helping to ensure continuation of support throughout the treatment journey.

The NCC, which was established in 2000 under the Ministry of Health and Welfare, serves as the nation’s central institution for cancer control, integrating research, clinical care and national programs across the continuum of cancer care, from prevention and screening to treatment, survivorship support and palliative care. As the number of cancer survivors continues to grow, with more than 2.7 million people in South Korea living with or beyond cancer according to 2023 National Cancer Registry Statistics, the NCC is strengthening a patient-centered approach to support recovery, long-term health and well-being. Through this partnership, Ralph Lauren and the NCC will help create a safe and compassionate space that recognizes recovery as an essential part of quality cancer care.

The new Ralph Lauren Center is supported by Pink Pony, Ralph Lauren’s global initiative in the fight against cancer. Established in 2000, Pink Pony’s mission is to help reduce disparities in cancer care by facilitating greater access to quality treatment to everyone at an earlier, more curable stage. Through annual marketing campaigns, dedicated product collections, employee volunteering and fundraising, Pink Pony supports 38 beneficiaries across 17 countries.
