Draper James has teamed up with Soludos for a limited-edition footwear collection.
At the core of the collaboration are five shoe styles inspired by the Reese Witherspoon-founded brand’s Southern aesthetic and feature romantic florals and feminine details.
The lineup includes the Hydrangea Smoking Slipper featuring a macro embroidered hydrangea, the Lucky You Piping Smoking Slipper with a playful “Lucky You” embroidery detail, the Eyelet Marseille Wedge, reimagined in a breezy floral eyelet linen, the Ibiza Blue Florals Sneaker, finished with hand-drawn hydrangea prints, and the MJ Eyelet crafted in an airy eyelet and delicate blue piping.
Jeannie Yoo, chief executive officer of Draper James, said in a statement that expanding the brand’s footwear assortment is an “exciting milestone” for the company.

“Soludos has built a distinct point of view around playful design, natural materials, and effortless resort-ready footwear that feels especially aligned with how our customer dresses and lives – from Southern summers to holiday travel,” Yoo noted. “Their personality and expertise in warm-weather footwear made them a natural partner to bring this collection to life in a way that feels authentic to both brands.”
Jimena de Cruylles, creative director of Soludos, added that the brand was drawn to Draper James’ sense of femininity and fresh, joyful spirit from the start.
“This collection was inspired by those slow, sun-filled, almost dreamlike summer days – quiet mornings on the porch that turn into afternoons by the water,” de Cruylles said. “Hydrangeas in bloom, lucky charms, and soft eyelet textures are elements that, to me, evoke that wistful feeling, with each style designed to carry you through it all. It brings together Draper James’ Southern charm with our approach to effortless summer footwear in a way that feels timeless, light, and touched with a sense of whimsy.”
This isn’t the Southern-inspired brand’s first shoe venture. In 2018, Draper James joined forces with Jack Rogers for a collection of sandals. The duo would later come back together in 2024 for a follow up release.
Draper James has also worked with Keds on two low-top silhouettes in four different colorways, including magnolia flower print, navy gingham, eyelet and chambray in 2020.
In February 2022, the label teamed up with Tretorn for a five-style co-branded sneaker capsule. The collab was followed up a year later with three more sneaker styles reimagined in new colorways that tied back to the Draper James Sport line.
These collaborations ultimately led to Draper James launching its first in-house shoe collection via a licensing agreement with Aldo Product Services in March 2022. The debut collection introduced a total of 37 new footwear pieces ranging from sandals, flats, kitten heels, espadrilles and evening sandals. The licensing agreement has since ended after one year.
The new Draper James and Soludos limited-edition collection, which retails between $129 and $159, is now available at Draperjames.com and Soludos.com.
