The Cotton Shop by Revolve is coming to Chicago.

From Aug. 20 to Aug. 23, the Los Angeles-based retailer will host the immersive pop-up in the Fulton Market District, offering consumers the opportunity to shop a curated edit of cotton-rich products from brands like Lovers + Friends, Lioness, Leset and Free People, alongside interactive experiences and daily giveaways.

Each day, five randomly selected guests will receive a $100 Revolve gift card. The first 50 guests will take home a custom Abbode Chicago cotton waffle pouch filled with beauty products from Revolve brands like Summer Fridays, Tower 28, Oribe and more.

Cotton denim will be a natural focal point for the pre-fall event. The pop-up’s Denim Bar will offer free custom embroidery with the purchase of any denim item. Additionally, customers are invited to recycle unwanted denim through Cotton Incorporated’s Blue Jeans Go Green denim recycling program in exchange for 15 percent off their entire in-store purchase. Jeans, jackets, shirts and other denim pieces can be accepted in almost any condition, provided they contain at least 90 percent cotton.

The Cotton Shop is part of Revolve’s ongoing partnership with Cotton Incorporated, which began in 2019 as a six-week promotion. The activation brings together Revolve’s fashion trend authority and highly engaged community with Cotton Incorporated’s mission to showcase the role cotton plays in today’s style, comfort and mindful lifestyle choices.

“Our customer looks for ease, comfort, and versatility in what they wear. The Cotton Shop helps make that connection by showing how thoughtful dressing can be integrated into everyday life, with cotton offering the comfort and versatility our customer values across different occasions,” Raissa Gerona, president, brand and partnerships, Revolve Group Inc., told SJ Denim.

The event blends shopping, giveaways and education—an approach that supports Revolve and Cotton Incorporated’s distinct but aligned goals of driving cotton clothing sales and demand while educating consumers about the fiber’s benefits. For the first time, in Chicago, guests will have the opportunity to hear from one of Cotton Incorporated’s trend forecasters on what’s next in fashion and why cotton remains the fabric of choice for everyday comfort and timeless style.

With more consumers prioritizing comfort, durability and styles with longevity, Bev Sylvester, Cotton Incorporated’s chief marketing officer, said the activation taps into the emotional side of shopping. “Consumers don’t just buy clothing, they buy the way clothing makes them feel,” she said. “Cotton continues to be the fiber people trust for comfort, quality and effortless style, and experiences like The Cotton Shop bring those attributes to life in meaningful ways.”

The Chicago event is the third annual installment of the pop-up series. Previous events were held in Nashville in 2025 and Dallas in 2024. The Cotton Shop edit also lives online and will have homepage placement on Revolve for the next week.

Gerona said Revolve approaches physical retail as an extension of their digital platform. “The Cotton Shop has performed strongly on Revolve, so bringing the experience into the physical world gives our customers another opportunity to connect with and discover the brand. We’re focused on creating experiences that feel culturally relevant, highly curated, and ultimately worth showing up for,” she said.

Gerona added that the longevity of Revolve’s partnership with Cotton speaks to how well the brands continue to evolve together. “Our ability to turn a product story into a meaningful retail and brand experience has resonated with our customers, allowing us to bring The Cotton Shop to multiple cities across the country. We’re excited to continue growing the partnership and bringing The Cotton Shop by Revolve experience to new customers and markets,” she said.

Sylvester said the long-running program allows Revolve and Cotton to build momentum, track revenue and measure its evolution, including influencer engagement. “Revolve is very data-driven, so we love the degree of measurement that they bring to the table,” she said, adding that every year, the team “makes it a bit bigger and a bit better” as they work toward their goal of educating consumers about the benefits of cotton.

“We’re really focused on educating our target consumer, which is that 18- to 34-year-old U.S. fashion-forward female, and so we really look for partners that resonate with her, and so that we can help educate her about the natural benefits [of cotton]. Revolve really checks that box,” she said.

The message is resonating with Revolve’s audience. “Our customers care deeply about how a piece looks and feels, but we’ve also seen a growing interest in what goes into the clothing they buy,” Gerona said. “Materials are increasingly part of the conversation about quality, comfort, versatility, and how a product fits into a person’s lifestyle.”
