Russ Patrick is back in department store retailing.
The long-time merchant for Neiman Marcus Group has joined Bloomingdale’s as general merchandise manager of home.
Patrick, who spent 33 years at Neiman’s before leaving the Dallas-based retailer in 2023, was senior vice president, GMM and head merchant of men’s, gifts, home and children’s for the department store.
At Bloomingdale’s, he succeeds Dan Leppo who joined sister company Macy’s as senior vice president and GMM of men’s and kids’ last March.

Patrick will be relocating to New York City as he settles into his new role.
According to his LinkedIn page, Patrick had spent his entire career at Neiman’s, starting there as an assistant buyer in 1990. Over the course of his time at the Dallas-based company, he was a buyer of women’s eveningwear and men’s accessories, vice president and divisional merchandise manager of children’s, home and men’s sportswear before being named senior vice president and general merchandise manager of menswear in 2004. He added gifts and home in 2011, children’s in 2016.
Since leaving Neiman’s, Patrick had acted as an industry consultant.
