Sabrina Carpenter took the white shoe trend sky-high in New York City on Saturday in Christian Louboutin’s white patent leather Daffodile platform pumps following her appearance on Saturday Night Live.
The glossy pair leaned hard into height — something that seems to be a requirement for Carpenter’s shoe style. The Daffodile silhouette featured a closed, rounded toe and a thick, curved platform base under the front of the foot, along with a very thin stiletto heel. Louboutin’s signature red sole showed clearly along the arch and heel, cutting against the bright white patent upper.
The “Manchild” singer paired the platforms with Valentino outerwear: a long double-breasted coat finished with faux-fur trim at the collar. As for accessories, she carried Valentino’s DeVain small shoulder bag in black leather, detailed with a gold VLogo plaque and a long strap.

Carpenter has been in a higher-than-usual-heels mood lately — just with different silhouettes. In November 2025, she wore a slim satin Pedro García stiletto with an open toe, cutaway sides and a crystal-set buckle at the vamp during a SoHo night out, while Taylor Swift wore Gucci horsebit platforms on the same evening. In December of the same year, she went back to Christian Louboutin for a “Late Night With Seth Meyers” appearance, pairing a Chantal Thomass fall 1994 dress with a black iteration of the Daffodile platform pumps.
She’s also gone full platform in Louis Vuitton at the 2025 Met Gala, wearing burgundy leather platforms with black lace-up detailing, and she’s rotated in more classic shapes too — including Manolo Blahnik heels in butter yellow, styled with statement socks for a sharp, styled-up finish.
Her latest platform moment also puts her in the growing company of celebrities wearing crispy white shoes, from Rihanna’s Amina Muaddi Anok pumps to Sydney Sweeney’s white pumps and Oprah Winfrey’s white Fendi boots:
