Saks has expanded its ambassador program, Saks Social Club, adding new members such as Paris Hilton, chief executive officer of 11:11 Media; supermodel Chanel Iman, and basketball player and heart health advocate Shareef O’Neal, among others.

Saks Social Club comprises a diverse group of influential women and men who serve as brand ambassadors for the retailer, and the program has more than doubled in size since its inception in 2020.

These brand advocates connect Saks and its customers to new communities, opportunities and charitable causes by participating in the luxury retailer’s marketing campaigns, creating custom content for its digital channels, and attending and hosting both virtual and in-person events.

“We are thrilled to welcome new members to the luxury industry’s leading brand ambassador network, the Saks Social Club,” said Emily Essner, chief merchandising officer at the retailer. “At Saks, we are committed to building meaningful relationships with the full continuum of luxury consumers. That’s why we created Saks Social Club — to cultivate a network of influential individuals who not only amplify the Saks lifestyle within their respective communities, but also serve as a source of inspiration to our customers across our platforms. We are excited to continue expanding this program and collaborating with our brand ambassadors in impactful ways as part of Saks’ long-term marketing strategy.”

Saks Social Club has more than doubled in size since it began in 2020 with 35 women and introduced a men’s segment, The Saks Man, in 2023. Members of the Saks Social Club represent a range of industries including fashion, art, entertainment, business and activism and are selected based on their unique voices, social engagements and personal networks, among other things. Saks Social Club members are concentrated in the key fashion markets of New York and Los Angeles, but the program includes ambassadors who reside in Dallas, Miami, Napa Valley, New Jersey and Washington, D.C.

Brand ambassadors are offered opportunities to participate in Saks campaigns, events, social media collaborations and charitable partnerships. Earlier this month, Saks launched its Mental Health Awareness Month campaign, as reported, featuring Saks Social Club member Dr. Deepika Chopra, a behavioral scientist known as The Optimism Doctor. Last March, Saks partnered with Saks Social Club member Casey Fremont, executive director of the Art Production Fund, to host APF’s annual gala for the third year in a row, which raised more than $850,000 in support of the organization’s mission to produce ambitious public art projects.

Other members of Saks Social Club include Amanda Nguyen, activist and astronaut; Ashley Avignone, fashion expert; Chloe Fineman, actress and comedian; model Emily DiDonato; philanthropist and fashion model Flaviana Matata; actress and filmmaker Francesca Scorsese; actress, trans model and activist Leyna Bloom; philanthropist Lili Buffett; founder of U Beauty Tina Craig; content creator and creative consultant Serena Goh, and model and health care advocate SouKeyna Diouf, among others.
