Salma Hayek joined notable French celebrities, public figures and athletes for the official Torch Relay in Versailles ahead of the Paris Olympics on Tuesday. The relay in the French city comes before the Paris Olympics officially commence on Friday.
For the relay, Hayek went full sporty with her apparel, wearing the coordinated Torch Relay uniform, consisting of a minimalist track suit with orange detailing running down the long sleeves. She paired the track suit, worn by other members of the relay, with white trainers.
The actress pulled her hair back in an ornate ponytail, which ran down her back. As far as accessories were concerned, Hayek paired the ensemble with a simple pair of gold earrings.

Hayek has deep ties to France. The actress has been married to François-Henri Pinault, the chief executive officer of luxury group Kering and president of the investment holding group Artémis, since 2009.
The Oscar-nominated actress carried the torch from the Yvelines suburb to the Versailles Palace, per Variety. She was joined by Didier Deschamps, the trainer of France’s national soccer team, and French singer Patrick Bruel. Hayek later posed for photos with Bruel and other notable public figures from France.
Along with Bruel, Hayek was joined by French soccer star Presnel Kimpembe and movement artist Mathieu Forget, among other members of the Olympic torch relay contingent.
Hayek is not the only high-profile celebrity or public figure to join the Paris Olympics torch relay in 2024. Thus far, Halle Berry, Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco have participated in the official Torch Relay, which began on May 8, ahead of the 2024 Olympics.
The Torch Relay is a long-held tradition of the Olympic Games that honors the sporting events’ history. The 2024 Olympic Torch was designed by Mathieu Lehanneur and features a symmetrical form that showcases the unity between male and female athletes. The Olympics begin Friday and conclude on Aug. 11.
