Salma Hayek wore a three-piece gold power suit to the World Monuments Fund’s 34th annual Hadrian Gala on Wednesday in New York City.
The occasion celebrated cultural heritage, and Hayek paired her look with a square clutch and sparkling necklace. The actress is usually styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray.
Hayek often goes for elegant red carpet looks, and earlier in October, wore a purple, draped Victoria Beckham gown to the “Beckham” premiere. To support “El Sabor de la Navidad,” the film she produced at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival in September, Hayek went minimalist in a Standing Ground classic white dress.
“El Sabor de la Navidad,” which translates to “The Taste of Christmas,” showcases three intertwined stories about Mexican families’ holiday celebrations and traditions.
Hayek is set to return to the screen as the star of Angelina Jolie’s upcoming film “Without Blood,” which is based on a novel of the same name by Italian author Alessandro Baricco. A release date has not yet be revealed.
The 2023 World Monuments Fund’s Hadrian Gala was hosted by the World Monuments Fund, an organization that seeks to preserve and protect the world’s most treasured places.
Those honored at the gala included the Krehbiel family, Tata Sons and Maryvonne Pinault, Hayek’s mother-in-law. Throughout her career as a philanthropist, Pinault has been a long advocate for amplifying French heritage. Her son François-Henri Pinault, Hayek’s husband, is the chairman and chief executive officer of Kering and the Kering Foundation.
