Salma Hayek arrived at the Frequency opening exhibition in Los Angeles on Thursday in a tailored silver skirt with coordinating platform sandals.
She paired her outfit’s metallic base with a black top and chrome bag. Hayek is usually styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray.
The event celebrated the latest exhibition from Hayek’s brother Sami Hayek, who is an artist known for his functional and elegant designs that showcase the interaction between materials and patterns. The Frequency exhibition is open from Nov. 3 to Dec. 7.
“Sami, I am filled with immense pride for you, my exceptionally talented brother. Your hard work, determination, creativity, and dedication have truly paid off,” Hayek wrote in an Instagram post on Friday regarding her brother’s Frequency opening reception.
Alongside Hayek at the art event was her husband, Kering chairman and chief executive officer François-Henri Pinault, who wore a black double-breasted suit. Other celebrity attendees included Marco Perego Saldana, Demi Moore and Sofia Vergara.
Hayek recently donned another metallic look — a gold, three-piece Brioni suit — to support her mother-in-law, Maryvonne Pinault, at the World Monuments Fund’s 34th Annual Hadrian Gala in October.
Hayek has recently focused her artistry behind the camera, on the production side. Her latest producer credits include the film “El Sabor de la Navidad” (The Taste of Christmas), which follows the Christmas traditions of three Mexican families.
The star is also set to be honored at the 2023 Baby2Baby Gala on Saturday with the Giving Tree Award for her philanthropy efforts supporting women and children across the world.
