Sandra Hüller attended the Golden Globes on Sunday night in Los Angeles. The German actress, who was nominated for her role in “Anatomy of a Fall,” wore a custom emerald green gown by Louis Vuitton. Hüller accessorized with fine jewelry by the French fashion house, which included a pair of hoop earrings and a cuff bracelet.
Stylist Jordan Johnson Chung, whose clients includes Michelle Yeoh, Kathryn Hahn and Sandra Oh, dressed Hüller for the occasion.
Makeup artist Jo Baker gave the actress a bold red lip and subtle blush, while hairdresser Danilo Dixon styled Hüller’s blond tresses in an updo with side bangs. Celebrity manicurist Emi Kudo coated Hüller’s nails in a pale nude polish.
Speaking to Jeannie Mai and Alex Badia, WWD’s style director, Hüller explained how she selected her gown for the Golden Globes. “I received a few drawings, beautiful drawings from Nicolas [Ghesquière], and then I could we could decide what we want to go,” she explained. “This was the only green dress that he proposed and I thought it was wonderful.”
The 81st annual Golden Globe Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, celebrate the biggest achievements across film and television in 2023. It is produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by WWD parent Penske Media Corp. Ahead of the ceremony, WWD will host its first real-time red carpet digital show, hosted by Jeannie Mai, highlighting the looks from the red carpet arrivals.
