Sarah Jessica Parker returned to her signature brand of whimsical glamour at the 2025 Booker Prize ceremony in London on Sunday, judging the event in a pair of crystal-covered pointed-toe pumps.
The pumps featured a pointed silhouette, a low, U-shaped vamp and fine crystal embellishment across a champagne-blush satin base and what appears to be a three-inch stiletto heel. The proportions matched the signature shapes from her former SJP Collection, which closed in late 2024 but still shows up in her rotation.
In the past month alone, Parker has worn black patent mary janes from that line to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and Aquazzura’s Be Mine Sandals to the New York City Ballet Fall Gala — each a mid-height style with subtle shine and plenty of character.

Her plum satin gown was structured through the bodice and finished with black velvet trim and floral embroidery on the sleeves. The skirt cut to tea length kept her crystal pumps visible on the carpet. She carried a tan Fendi Peekaboo bag from the brand’s spring 2026 collection, detailed with gold hardware and an iridescent lining that complemented the sparkle of her pumps.
Embellished pumps have resurfaced across fall collections from Aquazzura, Gianvito Rossi and René Caovilla, whose Ginger flats and Cleo sandals feature similar crystal work on lower, more flexible bases. Stars like Cynthia Erivo have even taken crystal embellishments to bespoke levels, who wore custom red-crystal Christian Louboutin Hot Chick pumps in London while promoting “Wicked: For Good” the same night — a couture-made nod to Dorothy’s ruby slippers that merged film history with modern craftsmanship.
This year’s Booker Prize, chaired by Roddy Doyle, was judged by a five-person panel that included Parker alongside authors Ayọ̀bámi Adébáyọ̀, Chris Power and Kiley Reid. The winner is set to be announced late Monday evening.
