Sienna Miller, clad in Dilara Fındıkoğlu, made the “War” premiere a family affair with her 14-year-old daughter Marlowe Sturridge on Wednesday night at London’s at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square.
The actress turned to Fındıkoğlu’s fall 2023 ready-to-wear collection, wearing the dark phoenix dress. The strapless look was crafted with a formfitting silhouette and exaggerated hips for an added structural element.
The dress was elevated by the feathery fabric used to created the look, with each plume decidedly placed for a sleek aesthetic. Keeping in the same color palette, Miller paired her dress with a set of strappy Jimmy Choo sandal pumps.

Miller’s teenage daughter went far more pared back than her mother. Marlowe wore a vintage Pittsburgh Pirates 1979 world champions shirt, which she paired with a low-rise silky black midi skirt. Marlowe accessorized her look by carrying the Chloé Paddington leather satchel bag, which accentuated the black and yellow color scheme of her attire.
By contrast, Miller’s mature gown reflected the undercurrent driving Fındıkoğlu’s fall 2023 ready-to-wear collection: one of self-possession and reclamation. “This whole collection is about a woman possessing her body back,” Fındıkoğlu said, per Hikmat Mohammed’s review of the collection.
“We’re doing a small revolution within this space. I think everyone’s body has been exploited way too much. I have been questioning it a lot with the Iranian protests; that was the kickoff point,” Fındıkoğlu said.
The collection was full of “unfinished hems and feather bras, underwear and dresses nodded to avant garde designers such as Ann Demeulemeester and Martin Margiela,” Mohammed wrote, along with highlights that included a “corseted bride wearing flowers dipped in resin” which served as “a reference to Fındıkoğlu’s graduate collection at Central Saint Martins.”
Miller and Dominic West star in “War,” which follows a two top London law firms that clash over a shocking divorce that rocks the legal world. The series premieres Oct. 1 on HBO.
