Silvia Tcherassi’s fall 2024 collection is meant for the woman on the go with silhouettes and fabrics that are durable and weather-appropriate while embodying the label’s signature feminine aesthetic.

“The woman in motion doesn’t have time to steam her suit,” said Sofia Tcherassi, director of the label’s ready-to-wear. “We’re always thinking about all of these events that the woman can have, all of the cities they’re going to and making each collection appropriate for the woman in motion — the woman who lives in the Delta Sky Club that doesn’t stop traveling.”

This ethos was exemplified through the use of sturdier fabrications and knits, such as a denim set overlaid with a copper metallic print and a series of beige waffle-knit pieces that can offer clients easy ways to create a polished look. The looks were a nice juxtaposition to the brand’s signature silk and embroidered dresses, giving a touch of masculinity to the otherwise feminine collection.

On the more feminine side, the collection offered several silk dresses and sets, such as a formfitting green camouflage print dress, a draped red halter dress and a floral print blazer. The rich colors and prints gave the simple silhouettes a chic feel that fits the brand’s target luxury client.

The collection also reintroduced a low-waisted skirt, which was part of Tcherassi’s original designs when she launched the brand more than three decades ago. The style was modern and was a fresh addition to a lineup of tried and true feminine silhouettes.

Overall, Silvia Tcherassi’s fall 2024 collection showed the designer’s strength in understanding her client and updating her core silhouettes and design motifs.
