Sports Illustrated is ushering in a new era of athletic and fashion models with its 2025 Swimsuit Issue, which promises to celebrate the achievements and style of some of the most influential athletes in the world. The magazine revealed an exclusive preview of this year’s issue on Thursday, showcasing a lineup of trailblazers, including sprinter Gabby Thomas, gymnast Suni Lee, golfer Nelly Korda and skier Eileen Gu.  

Shot by photographer Ben Horton in the sun-drenched locales of Boca Raton, Fla., the issue highlights the athletes’ unique journeys in sports and their growing influence in the fashion world. The Swimsuit Issue will release next spring, with additional athletes and cover stars to be announced in the coming weeks.

After earning bronze in the 200m and silver in the 4x100m relay at the Tokyo Olympics, Thomas triumphed at the Paris 2024 Games with three gold medals in the 200m, 4x100m and 4x400m relays. Nelly Korda
