Sydney Sweeney opted for a sculptural look from Balmain’s fall 2024 collection at the Los Angeles premiere of “Immaculate” on Friday during Beyond Fest in Los Angeles.
It featured elaborate 3D roses and other flowers in blossoms across the chest, and two hands carrying the flowers at the waist. The top was styled with a pair of wide-leg black trousers similar to how it appeared on the runway.
Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing previously told WWD the collection, which is a tribute to Bordeaux, France, is about “timeless elegance, and an homage to French culture.” Designs included gingham checks, snail embellishments and barrels of grape motifs.
Styled by Molly Dickinson, the ornate outfit was paired with gold and diamond hoop earrings.
Glen Oropeza gave the star a wet hair look featuring one curly lock falling around her face. Makeup artist Melissa Hernandez gave her a nude glossy lip.
The look came one day after Sweeney recreated a Julia Roberts moment from “My Best Friend’s Wedding” in a powder blue, custom Miu Miu silk gown at the GLAAD Media awards. That event was also in Los Angeles. Days before that, she went coquettish in Austin for SXSW with a lace Richard Quinn off-the-shoulder dress.
“Immaculate,” out March 22, follows a nun’s journey to a secluded convent in the Italian countryside. Sweeney not only stars in the psychological horror film, but serves as a producer.
