Teyana Taylor closed out Oscars night in a stripped-back Chanel look, changing out of the feathered black-and-white gown she wore to the 98th Academy Awards and into a white satin dress for the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party at LACMA on Sunday.
Taylor’s second Chanel look of the night relied on cut and proportion rather than overt embellishment. The “One Battle After Another” star’s white satin dress fell in a long, narrow line. A softly scooped neckline and lightly gathered bust gave the front the look of a slip, while the sides and back opened wide beneath chain-trimmed straps.
The most distinctive detail sat at the straps and back. Delicate jeweled straps replaced standard spaghetti straps at the shoulders, then extended into multiple draped chains across the open back. Star-shaped accents marked the shoulder points, pushing the white satin closer to Old Hollywood slip dressing than a simple evening gown.
