Feldman highlighted a few trends to watch this summer including shields which, “offer additional sun protection while polarization is great for the water because it blocks the glare and enhances the clarity of your vision while seeing object”; and oversize frames, “they’re your styles megaphone,” she said. “Vibrant colors and daring lenses elevate the ordinary to the extraordinary, letting you shine with confidence and individuality.”

If trends aren’t the thing there are plenty of classics to pull from too, wayfarer shapes, tortoise and black, frames that will look good season after season and the designer sunglass market is vast, and growing.

The recent Vision Expo East trade show saw more than 450 exhibitors showcasing the latest in innovation, technology and, of course, trends.
