Pro skater Dashawn Jordan will soon get a release for his first Nike SB Dunk collaboration, and it’s modeled after the famous throwback uniforms of his hometown baseball team.
The Dashawn Jordan x Nike SB Dunk Low is inspired by the Arizona Diamondbacks’ purple and teal uniforms from its 2001 World Series title. Jordan is known to frequently wear D-Backs hats, including one with a snakeskin brim, and back in 2020 he said he’d love to do a Dunk based on the team’s original uniforms.
White and gray snakeskin-textured leather takes the most prominence through the overlays, while purple and teal are reserved for the lining, mustache and tongue tag. Black suede serves as the base and Swoosh, matching the entirety of the sole unit. Each shoe also comes with a lace charm of a snake with prominent fangs in bronze-tone medal, and unique snake graphics appear on the inner-tongue tag and insole.

Jordan, who’s also a rapper, grew up in Chandler, Ariz., part of the Phoenix metro area, and opened a skate shop nearby in Tempe. He’s previously released trucks with Diamondbacks-inspired logo and last fall was hosted by the team for a game. Chandler also named him to the city’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2024, and for the occasion, he donned a D-Backs hat.

The Dashawn Jordan x Nike SB Dunk Low will release March 14 through select skate shops, including in event at his Faces Skateshop, with an additional launch on the Snkrs app likely to follow. Pricing has not yet been confirmed.
