When I set up the Jericho Sling Chair in my backyard, it instantly gave the area a more refined and chic look. The tan wicker frame brought warmth, and the ivory fabric brightened my patio. In fact, I actually use sling chairs indoors as extra lounge chairs in my living room, especially when the weather isn’t the best.
The sleek silhouette doesn’t feel chunky, but the chair itself is large enough for guests to sit comfortably. Although I adore the modern boho look of the sling chair, I was most impressed by how comfortable it felt to lounge in.
The Jericho Sling Chair has a unique cushion design that conforms to your body’s natural shape. The foam paneling and sling seat design are flexible enough to move along with your body while providing cushioning and support. The adjustable headrest adds even more comfort; its rounded shape perfectly supports the neck. If you are short like me, you can bring the headrest down as needed.
You can also choose between two positions: upright and slightly more reclined. Note the chair does not become completely flat. I switch between both depending on my mood or if I’m eating or not. The Jericho Sling Chair is so comfortable I unknowingly spent hours on it curled up with a good book, and as time passes, sometimes I end up falling asleep on it.

Although the Jericho Sling Chair is foldable and portable, it is not as lightweight as your traditional lawn chair. Because of its sturdy structure, it does have some weight to it, and it is fairly large in size. As someone who is 5’1″, I admit it’s not the easiest chair to move around my patio.
To properly care for the Jericho Sling Chair, the brand suggests storing it in a dry area with an outdoor cover, if needed. Although the fabric cushions are UV- and water-resistant, it’s best to wipe them down regularly for maintenance and to prevent staining. If you’re worried about accidental spills or wear and tear from outdoor elements, I’d suggest getting the darker color Arcadia which can easily mask any stains.
