With nearly half of the U.S. set to be impacted by this weekend’s storm, it’s apparent that winter is still very much underway. For those looking to round out their boot rotation for the season, Timberland has just launched its iconic 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boot in an all-too-fitting limited-edition “Alpine Glacier” style.
The Timberland Alpine Glacier 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boot is available now from the brand’s e-commerce site and select retailers. The just-released pair flips the boot’s signature wheat yellow color in favor of an icy light blue nubuck upper. The soft blue shade is paired with a dark gray padded collar and a two-tone midsole and translucent outsole. Light blue boot laces come in the shoe, but the pair also comes packaged with an alternate dark gray. And to further drive home the icy inspiration, a translucent gray hangtag is included alongside a standard nubuck keychain.
Along with this icy new look, Timberland just launched a Valentine’s Day-themed collection and a new color of its popular woven Premium 6-Inch Boot.

While the premium nubuck upper of the Timberland boot may be a bit more delicate than rugged leathers and synthetic materials, the model is still equipped for winter weather thanks to its seam-sealed waterproof construction, toasty PrimaLoft insulation and grippy lug outsole. Those who prefer to keep their pairs in pristine condition may want to consider treating the nubuck with a protective spray before venturing out into the snow.
Earlier in January at NRF’s Big Show in NYC, Timberland global brand president Nina Flood touted an “overhaul” that began when her tenure started in December 2023. “This meant uncompromisingly executing in our product and our marketing in our marketplace. And by no means is our transformation complete, but I would definitely say we have good energy around the brand, and the team is in lock step moving forward in the transformation,” Flood said.
The Timberland Alpine Glacier 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boot is available now from timberland.com and select retailers in extended sizing for a retail price of $210. The boot’s style code is TB0A41MWEKM.
