Throughout the year, Timberland has frequently given its signature Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boot new revisions ranging from patent and Horween leather updates to embossed leather looks and a bold patchwork collaboration with New York-based streetwear brand Supreme. And yet, the litany of looks may have just been outclassed with an ultra-luxe Louis Vuitton link-up designed by the fashion house’s men’s creative director, Pharrell Williams.
Originally created as part of Timberland and Louis Vuitton’s multi-Sku 2024 collaboration, this ultra-limited variation of the Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boot has gone largely overlooked until now. New details and images were shared Thursday by Thierry Tek, co-founder and managing director of creative agency Visionarism.

Covered in Louis Vuitton’s signature monogram pattern, the brown leather boots are outfitted with 18 karat gold hardware including their eyelets, tongue “LV” logos and lace tips. The Italian-made shoes are limited to only individually numbered 50 pairs in existence, and according to Tek, he was able to acquire the last one on the market in Tokyo.
Tek adds that the ultra-limited boots retailed for around £65,000, which converts to around $85,000. While the boots themselves feature hardware that aren’t found on other Louis Vuitton x Timberlands, there’s another factor contributing to the high-end pricing — the shoes come in a fold-out display trunk complete with a LV-branded clear panel.
While Tek’s recent social media share resurfaced the rare pair, it’s not the first time the boots have been seen. Mathias Patillon, head of design of men’s footwear at Louis Vuitton, shared a detailed look at the boot in January 2024. Patillon’s images included detailed looks at all of the collaboration’s components and revealed a quote from Williams, “the sun is shining on us,” which appears on the tongue’s inner LV logo.
Unfortunately for fans seeking to add this pair to their collection, the collaboration is currently near-impossible to track down. As of publishing, the pair isn’t available from any secondary market, meaning the images here are as close as many may come to the boots, especially considering that Tek’s purchase is said to be the final pair in retail circulation.
