Fitness guru Tracy Anderson is launching an activewear line Thursday called Tracy Anderson Collection.

The first piece to drop from the collection is the Power Mesh Shrug. Designed to keep one’s muscles warm during Anderson’s arm sequences, the Power Mesh Shrug comes in two colorways, black and beige, in a lush high-performance fabric. It retails for $95.

“Activewear should feel like a second skin. When you’re moving with me, the goal is always to find freedom in motion,” said Tracy Anderson, founder of the Tracy Anderson Method. “That’s why I’m excited to announce this new line of only essentials. For me, the finest activewear indulges in simplicity — lines, flattering fits, first-class comfort.”

The Power Mesh Shrug is the first to drop in the 12-piece collection that includes seven styles in a variety of colorways including shrugs, unitards, leotards and two-piece sets. A new piece will be dropping weekly.

The collection is being produced in-house and is manufactured in the U.S. and Italy. It will be sold at tracyanderson.com, Tracy Anderson Studios and, starting in February, Bergdorf Goodman.

Overall, the collection will range from $75 to $250.

In the past, Anderson has designed exclusive apparel collections with brands and retailers such as Barneys New York, QVC and Bloch. This is her first stand-alone apparel collection.

Anderson plans to have two to four drops a year. Sizes range from XXS to XL.

Anderson will be working with recycled nylons, recycled polyester, sustainable eco-friendly cotton, recycled power mesh and other sustainable fabrics, the company said. Her hardware, such as buttons and zippers, are sourced from an Italian factory that works with Louis Vuitton, Celine and Khaite, among others.
