The Travis Scott merchandising complex has capitalized on his role in “The Odyssey” with a run of T-shirts and a tote-bag. Not included in the Thursday drop were the two Nike sneakers made for the movie — but the webstore has given fans a closer look at the cast and crew-exclusives.
The Travis Scott x “The Odyssey” x Nike Moon Shoe and ACG Moc have both been shown through official product images. Both sneakers are united by black and brown color schemes befitting of the aesthetics for both the film and the rapper but diverge in their precise execution.
For the Moon Shoe, which Scott debuted at the movie’s New York City premiere, a black leather base is overlayed with black shaggy suede panels and a furry burgundy-brown Swoosh. Bronze-tone metal lace dubraes then harken toward various hardware from the flick.

Brown becomes the primary color for the ACG Moc through a fully furry upper. Black is reserved for the leather heel panel and toggle fastening, which carries what appears to be a bronze spine as ornamentation.
In creating the ACG Mocs for the cast and crew, it’s been said that Scott may have been offering an alternative option for comfort due to director Christopher Nolan’s “no UGG” rule on set.
“I did show up one day with Uggs, and he looked at them, and he said, ‘Nope.’ And I just went, ‘No problem!’ And they never came back,” Hathaway told USA Today. Her costar, Matt Damon, also chimed in and backed her claim: “He hates Uggs more than anything; I think they symbolize a level of leisure he’s not comfortable with while he’s working.”
Given that the Travis Scott “The Odyssey” x Nike Moon Shoe and ACG Moc were expressly labeled as for “cast and crew” on the rapper’s site, it’s unlikely either will release to the public. Should that change, Footwear News will put you on notice.
