Justice has announced on Friday its new collaboration with Minecraft on a limited-edition capsule collection available exclusively at Walmart.
Inspired by popular motifs from the video game, the Justice x Minecraft collection features an array of tops, bottoms, accessories, sleep sets and swimwear pieces in shades of pink, green, black and white. Highlighting the way the retailer crafts its clothing collections by mixing color with patterns, prints and high-shine textiles, several pieces from the collection are designed with rainbow and tie-dye colorways, Minecraft graphics and 3D embellishments, including sequins, patches and lettering.
Kat DePizzo, president of Justice Design Lab, said in a statement that its latest offering is building on the brand’s mission to “champion girls and break style barriers in the fashion industry.”
“Our collaboration with Minecraft seamlessly merges the trend.…Justice is known for with the creative world of Minecraft,” DePizzo said. “The entire Justice team is committed to delivering unique collaborations that cater to the passions and preferences of all girls.”
Gypsy Jo Diessner, vice president of kids fashion for Walmart U.S., said in a statement that offering the collaboration at an accessible price point will resonate with its consumer base. “The fashion collection blends the imagination of Minecraft and its pixel-perfect graphics with trendsetting style at incredible prices that we think our customers will love.”
In addition to purchasing a physical piece of clothing from the Justice x Minecraft Pixel-Perfect fashion collection, consumers have the opportunity to unlock exclusive in-game content compatible with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, with Minecraft Marketplace. Gamers who activate this content will receive a Justice skin pack, which includes virtual clothing for their avatars to wear in the Minecraft universe.
