After the final runway bow, Ralph Lauren’s night in the Hamptons continued with a dinner experience that was straight from the Polo Bar.
Guests made their way into the dinner space, which revealed itself to be a near-replica of the Midtown Manhattan hotspot – even the restaurant’s maître d’ Nelly Moudime was on hand. The restaurant’s signature popovers were waiting in baskets, and a bar had been set up with “Hamptons Spritzes” and “Ralph’s Lemonade Iced Tea” on offer. The main difference? The recreated Polo Bar was about twice the size of the Manhattan one, leaving much more room to mingle.
After walking in the show, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington relaxed inside the venue, posing for pictures together and receiving many compliments. In a corner booth nearby, the man himself – Mr. Ralph Lauren – was dressed in one of the brand’s polo shirts from the closing ceremony of the Olympics with USA emblazoned on the front, talking with his seat mate, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden.
“Have you met Mr. Lauren?” Jude Law was asked, before being whisked over to the designer.
