Hot off its collaboration with Converse, Vaquera has released its kissed mark-covered collab with Nike.

According to the Paris-based fashion brand, it has updated Nike’s Air Max Dn8 sneaker with a playful amount of kiss marks. Vaquera noted that this new collaboration reflects its “dedication to blurring the line between homage and parody, satire and sincerity.”

Details of the shoe’s include an upper made of glossy patent leather that’s freckled with shiny metallic logos and printed graphics that mimic the most passionate lipstick kisses. Underfoot, the translucent clear outsole keeps visual interest alive.

“Romance is a major brand code at Vaquera,” Patric DiCaprio, co-founder of Vaquera, said in a statement. “We covered the Dn8 with kiss marks. The effect is something playful and romantic while maintaining Nike’s high standard of functionality.”

This sneaker follows the release of Vaquera’s tie-up with Converse last month, which featured the new XXXHi Slouch Wedge and XHi Slouch Wedge shoe models.

Unveiled during Vaquera’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear presentation, both silhouettes transformed the Chuck Taylor All Star into a slouched, textile-heavy expression with hidden wedge soles. Each style is designed to exaggerate proportion and movement, with the XXXHi extending above the knee and the XHi falling just below.

“We love to take something well-known like the Chuck and make it feel new,” Bryn Taubensee, co-founder of Vaquera, said in a statement in November. “We kept a lot of the iconic elements of the Chuck but removed the laces and supersized the upper. The effect is something familiar while at the same time unknown and exciting.”

The Nike x Vaquera Air Max Dn8 will be available on Vaquera.nyc on Dec. 10 and on Nike.com, SNKRS and select retailers on Dec. 12.
