Virgil Abloh’s coveted Off-White x Nike collaborations are officially coming back next month, but they’ll look a little different than what fans have come to expect from the co-branded designs.
The collaboration’s return will begin with an Air Jordan sneaker which was once one of the rarest Off-White x Nike releases. Now re-branded as the Virgil Abloh Archive x Air Jordan 1 High, the upcoming style dons a White/White colorway across Abloh’s deconstructed design. Ahead of its retail arrival, resale marketplace GOAT has shared the detailed look at the sneaker yet.

The same colorway was originally released in early 2018 as a European exclusive, making it the only Off-White x Air Jordan 1 which was not available globally. Like Abloh’s other interpretations of the Air Jordan 1, the White/White style — which has been nicknamed “Alaska” for the upcoming reissue — features an inside-out construction which exposes the model’s inner components and results in an aesthetic that’s more art piece than it is a performance sneaker.
All of the signature Abloh bells and whistles are featured on the pair including zig-zag stitches, decorative blue and orange threading, bold “AIR” text on the midsole and exposed foam padding. Where things differ from previous releases comes at the medial branding: while the pair once read “Off-White for Nike,” the new version of the sneaker is instead printed with “V.A.A. for Nike,” short for Virgil Abloh Archive.
In October 2024, LVMH sold Off-White to Bluestar Alliance, but the late Abloh’s estate had already distanced itself from his former brand. “Virgil Abloh Securities and Shannon Abloh officially parted ways with Off-White in 2022 and are no longer affiliated with the brand,” the estate said in a 2024 statement.
The Virgil Abloh Archive is a sprawling private collection of more than 20,000 objects from the late designer’s career. Its branding will be used on future Nike collaborations, more of which are scheduled to be released throughout 2026.
The Virgil Abloh Archive x Air Jordan 1 Retro High Alaska is currently expected to be released in limited quantities on March 28 for $230. The style code for the White/White colorway is AA3834-100.
