White & Warren, the luxury cashmere brand, will release a new line, Clubhouse by White & Warren, a seasonal collection inspired by the aspirational ease of country club living with a nod to vintage sportswear.

The collection is designed for lunch at the club to post-match cocktails. For the collection’s first drop, there will be 10 new styles including hoodies, cardigans, crewnecks and shorts, offered in a range of colors including navy, lemonade and pink buds. It is being sold starting Tuesday on whiteandwarren.com, and in selected retail partners.

Prices range from $375 to $795 and it will be an ongoing business. For spring, the drops will go live in January and May. For pre-fall, there will be a second collection that drops in August.

Catherine Morrissey, president of White & Warren, said, “Clubhouse came directly from listening to our customer. Through the brand surveys we conducted before the rebrand, we learned that she identifies most with a ‘classic’ and ‘casual’ style. She told us who she was and what she loved, and we listened.”

She explained that over time, “whenever we offered pieces with a more sporty sensibility, whether through details, silhouettes or how they presented them, our customer consistently responded.”

“Those styles and colors have always existed within our line, but they often felt like outliers. Clubhouse is our way of turning that insight into a clearly merchandised, intentionally styled capsule that lives alongside our main collection,” she said.

Morrissey said Clubhouse “gives space to the more relaxed, sporty side of our customer that we know exists because she’s shown us in how she shops and what she responds to, without redefining the core of White & Warren, which remains elevated, and non-sport.”

The first shipment is a mix of cashmere and merino cashmere blend, and May’s shipment is cashmere and organic cotton. The collection is being manufactured in China.

The collection is inspired by a vintage sport aesthetic, such as tennis, golf, equestrian, that one can wear anytime, but it’s not for playing sports. “The collection is really designed as her off-court uniform, the pieces she throws on to and from a match or throughout her day. We’re positioning it as the go-to for in-between dressing, essentially her off-court wardrobe,” Morrissey said.
