A cool and young take on heritage prep.

Fendi is gearing up for their centenary anniversary next year. For this milestone Silvia Venturini Fendi, that has been leading menswear design since 1997, went into the archives and found a 1984 photo of the Italian national football team at the airport wearing crested blazers, trenchcoats and checks.

That inspiration lead to a chic youthful collection full of preppy references, a key trend emerging already here in Milan, including maderas prints and plaids that worked best when used along the Japanese boro technique as seen in this jean jacket with a distressed effect paired with flowy volume shorts and rep tie.
