Willow Smith brought ’70s rocker glam to the stage in Detroit on Saturday. The singer and songwriter served as the opening act for rapper and singer Childish Gambino, who is currently on the road for his fifth and final studio album, “Bando Stone and the New World.”

The daughter of actors Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith wore the Plissé Maxi Dress from ASTR the Label. The formfitting dress featured structured cap sleeves, a lined silhouette and jewel neckline, which was ideal for Smith’s accessories.

The singer opted for a layered look when it came to her accessories. She wore chocker necklaces that featured layers of gold and silver gemstones and chains in various sizes. The hues perfectly complimented Smith’s frock, without taking away from the dress.

As for the rest of her accessories, Smith opted for a few dainty rings and a small piece to accentuate her septum piercing. Pairing back when it came to her glam, the 23-year-old singer wore her voluminous hair in a natural style, another homage to the ’70s, and kept her makeup look clean and simple.

When it comes to her personal sense of style, Smith often finds inspiration from the past and puts a modern twist on Y2K or retro fashion. She is among a bevy of celebrities and A-list stars who are bringing back the vest trend. Like Kelsea Ballerini, Jessica Alba and more, Smith put her own twist on the Y2K style during an appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” last May.
