Kristen Bell attended the opening night performance of “Reefer Madness: The Musical” at The Whitley on Thursday in Los Angeles. The actress channeled quiet luxury in a look from Marina Moscone.
Bell donned the brand’s plunge slipdress in a deep navy colorway. Constructed from a sleek satin textile, the dress featured a triangular section of sheer paneling along the bodice which created a partially covered plunging V-neckline. Additionally, the garment was adorned with a knee-high side slit and a pair of thin vertical straps.
Several styles from Marina Moscone’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection make use of similarly slinky materials and tonal colorways. From slipdresses in shades of black, pink, green and red to fringe-adorned skirts in varying lengths, the collection uses modern techniques to elevate classic styles.
As for her styling, Bell kept her layered blond tresses down over her shoulders in a deep side part. The star’s makeup was kept natural using a peachy-toned blush and matching lip shade to bring additional color to her face.
Bell was joined on the red carpet by many high-profile attendees, including Angelina Jolie and her daughter, Vivienne Jolie, who both attended in coordinating outfits. Jolie paired her tailored black suit with a printed T-shirt from Japanese brand Beams, while her daughter arrived in her own black suit with a light blue button-down and Converse sneakers.
Bell, alongside Alan Cumming, is a coproducer of “Reefer Madness: The Musical,” a fitting role after starring in 2005’s “Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical,” a film inspired by the first theater production of “Reefer Madness: The Musical” in 1999.
