WINTER WITH BALLY: Bally is launching its winter 2024 capsule collection with a striking communication campaign photographed at the Kunstmuseum in Basel, Switzerland — a link to the origins of the brand, which was established in 1851 in the Swiss town of Schönenwerd.
This is the second winter capsule designed by creative director Simone Bellotti, who joined the brand in May 2023.
The capsule for men and women is closely linked to Bally’s alpine roots, with references to its heritage construction techniques, with folklore touches such as intricate edelweiss embroideries and bold patterned knits.
The Bally family crest embellishes a range of cozy wintry designs in flannel and shearling.

Photographed by Luna Conte, the campaign juxtaposes the looks to some of the artworks in the museum, including several painted mountain landscapes. The Kunstmuseum comprises around 4,000 paintings by the likes of Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Pablo Picasso to name a few, and sculptures, installations and videos as well as 300,000 drawings and prints spanning eight centuries.

In mid-August, an affiliate of Regent, the owner of Club Monaco and Escada, acquired Bally International A.G. from JAB. In October, chief executive officer Nicolas Girotto exited the brand, succeeded by Ennio Fontana.
