In recent years, Jennifer Lopez has made quite a reputation for herself when it comes to manicures. Perhaps your mind goes to the bejeweled nails she wore with over 250 crystals for her performance at the Elie Saab show or the trendy cherry-mocha nails she recently debuted, but her latest manicure for the 2025 Grammys did not disappoint, either.
For the big night in music, the singer brought her A-game sartorially and beauty-wise, donning a sequined, structural Stéphane Rolland skirt with a black turtleneck – a marvelous ensemble to go with her loose waves and flawless makeup. Though her nails were barely seen throughout the night thanks to a pair of gloves, Lopez still had the most beautiful winter manicure hiding underneath: a champagne, coffin-shaped set of velvet nails. They’re not actually textured (unlike fluffy nails), but the illusion of soft velvet is created thanks to the shimmery effect in the nail polish.
Of course, the mastermind behind Lopez’s glamorous nails is celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik, who’s created many awe-inspiring sets for the artist over the years. For the Grammys, Bachik shared all the products he used on Instagram, allowing you to try the trend at home. To create what he calls the “iced chai mani,” Bachik used tools from the Tweezerman x Tom Bachik Ultimate Nail Care Set ($59), and numerous polishes from his namesake brand: the Tom Bachik Click Colors Magnetic Gel in ‘Iced Chai’ ($16) and Click Colors in ‘Super Clear’ ($16). He added La Mer The Renewal Oil ($295) and The Hand Treatment ($115) for a finishing touch.
