As it continues to see brand heat, Saucony is teaming up with Paris-based designer Stan Birch.
Centered around Birch’s “Stand Out” mantra, the collaboration centers around the Wolverine Worldwide-owned footwear brand’s ProGrid Guide 7 sneaker silhouette.
First previewed at Saucony’s Paris Men’s Fashion Week showroom in June, the shoe features a rich palette of burgundy, cream and metallic gold. Nubuck, suede and leather overlays sit atop an open double mesh upper, while interchangeable Velcro logo patches and alternate lace options allow wearers to personalize the look.
“The beauty of this collaboration is in the details,” Jason Faustino, senior director of global energy at Saucony, said in a statement. “From the premium material mix and metallic gold accents to the interchangeable logos and lace options, Stan brought a unique perspective to the ProGrid Guide 7 that celebrates individuality and invites consumers to stand out.”
