September has begun, there’s a semblance of a crispness in the air, and football season is almost here.
Translation? It’s time to draft our fantasy front-row picks for the fashion month ahead.
Things officially kick off with the start of New York Fashion Week on Thursday, and after a busy few months of vacations, celebrities will once again take to the front row across not only New York but also London, Milan and Paris over the next six weeks. So who do we hope to see dotted along the runway?
The press tour for “Practical Magic 2” has already delivered fashion moments aplenty — see Nicole Kidman in Pieter Mulier’s first design for Versace at the Los Angeles premiere. We’d love to see Kidman and Sandra Bullock bring their magic to the front row this fashion month.

TV-wise, our show of the summer was “Sterling Point,” and its lead Ella Rubin has already proven a front-row pro at Louis Vuitton’s cruise show this spring. Zara Larsson has been on a breakout run this year — we’re adding her to the mix.
“Hacks” star Meg Stalter wraps up her run as Mary Todd Lincoln in “Oh, Mary!” on Sept. 12, just in time for the last few NYFW shows. Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner have spent the summer being paparazzied on various vacations together, so why not make things official with a good old fashion week appearance?
While first lady of New York Rama Duwaji popped up in the front row at Diotoma last season, we’re not optimistic about catching Mayor Zohran Mamdani sitting alongside the fashion week VIPs after he skipped out on the Met Gala. But wouldn’t it be a fun statement for him to join the standing-room-only crowd and support one of the city’s up-and-coming young designers?
