Natasha Lyonne was yet another celebrity who took the runway this fashion week, trying her hand at modeling on Vivienne Westwood‘s spring 2027 show held on Oct. 3 in Paris. Much like Olivia Colman for Miu Miu’s spring 2027 show, Lyonne embodied the brand’s spirit, clad in the designer’s pieces from head to heel.
The “Poker Face” star’s look, which came straight from the mind of the brand’s Creative Director Andreas Kronthaler, featured a glitzy pair of gladiator-style shoes. The silhouette, which brought back the trend of years gone by, was equipped with a panel on the front adorned with floral motifs, pearls and vines, all in gold that, from afar, looked like sequins.
The glitzy panel gave way to thin brown leather straps that wrapped around Lyonne’s calves and feet, secured in place with coordinating gold buckles. The designer footwear was mixed with something akin to a clog, since the platform base was wooden. Each shoe also featured peep toes and wooden heels that jutted towards the soles. The hybrid style seemed to be a centerpiece of the collection, seen on a slew of other models beyond Lyonne.

Gladiator silhouettes, like the ones featured during Vivienne Westwood’s latest show, have gone through many changes over the years. The style was first popularized during the 70s, but continued to make a comeback in many eras, including the 2000s, 2010s and even 2016, seen on celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Zendaya, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyla and even Michelle Obama.
The shoe is classified as a sandal style, but comes up to the knees like a boot. While gladiator shoes are more popular during the warmer months, shoes like Lyonne’s feel more fall-centric due to the materials utilized and the gold and neutral color scheme. Alongside her gladiator heels, the “But I’m a Cheerleader” actress sported a leopard-printed mini skirt accompanied by a maximalist orange, black, yellow and green coat, also featuring leopard print. The jacket featured turtleshell buttons and nature motifs like leaves throughout.
Embodying the punk-rock vibes Vivienne Westwood’s brand was founded on, Lyonne was done up with graphic black smoky eyes, while her red hair was tousled and voluminous. Accessorizing her ensemble, the thespian toted a brown shoulder bag featuring devil horn and tail motifs that tapped into Vivienne Westwood’s grunge DNA. The bag was affixed with a chunky silver chain strap.
